Evening Routine
Huh, as usual, traffic is worst as ever. I've waited for the bus for more than an hour. During rush hour after office, it's always been like this! (nothing knew). Though I already emailed my complains to rta still there's now improvement'yet. I think everyday, is getting worse! Chew, cars are already over populated here because once a person had a driver license, he can get easily a car loan from banks. So whatever control government will do, still it's congested. I guess if they will just regulate or be strict in someone getting a car, traffic might improved. Btw, I reached home after 2 hours of staying in the street.

Father's Day 09
To all father's out there.... Happy Fathers Day! We know that father made the biggest contribution in our life. They are the 1 who will do all things to provide and disciplined his family. He make it to a point that his family is all well, healthy, happy and always eat meals on time.
I would like to take this opportunity to... thank my own father ( never I did this before and he never heard it from me since birth) for being my father. For providing me everything during my childhood days and until I grow up and become independent. I thank him for everything he'd done to us. (though my childhood life is not that enjoyable since I started to be responsible at the early age.) The love he showed and gave to us. The patience, trust and assistance in everything I do. The perseverance, hardwork and understanding in which I got from him. He taught and showed how family is important. And the management he always practice. Everything what I am today is all because of him. Once again, I would like the world to know, I am proud and thankful that you are my Father! I love you !!!

First Exploration in Abroad
The very first day I step in the foreign land gave me mixed emotions. Since though I used to mingle with foreigners but I'm very far from my country (having 8 hrs plane trip). This make me feel worried and afraid on how will I ever overcome this feeling. Also, I was expecting too much knowing that foreigners are too demanding, always on time, disciplined and traffic is not that much as compared to Manila.
However, most of what I expected were correct except for the traffic condition and discipline. My gosh! Traffic in Dubai is worst than in Manila since they just started their railway construction last yr and they have too many cars here (b'coz gasoline is cheap and people with driver's license can easily get a car loan from the banks). And garbage you can see it everywhere. Loitering is still deregulated strictly wherein there's a fine if found guilty. Also, there's one more, most of the people here, don't know how to speak English fluently. You feel like talking to preschooler when you have a conversation with other people. Because most of the workers here that came from nearby countries, only knows a little English words and you must talked to them slowly and per word with explanations so that they can get what you are telling correctly otherwise you'll not understand each other.
During the time I arrived here 2 yrs ago, looking for employment is not that difficult since Dubai is still on the process of building their so called "tourist attraction" status. Unlike these days, it is very difficult maybe because of the "financial crisis'' that hits the entire universe (since the last quarter of 2008) and plenty of people coming in everyday.

Just joined-in!!
My very first day to join this team of bloggers. Tnx to my bf-grace. At last, this will help me update, record and account everything about my life.
To start with, this is my 3rd wk in Dubai coming from Pinas'09 vacation, after 2 yrs of working here. Hmmm, still on the adjustment of feeling homesick. Whenever I received sms from Phils, I just felt lonely and got teary-eyed. Because I easily missed the people I left behind and the things we did together during our vacation. And sometimes when I call them, I just cant control my tears to come out from my eyes. What the heck, the important is... I'm working here to help all of them financially.
